We are so excited to announce that in addition to our regular PLAY DAY activities, 
we will also be hosting 2 Community Nights!

Daniel Hodgins will be joining us in both HOUGHTON and MARQUETTE!

Daniel Hodgins, Early Childhood Consultant
as part of the 2018 Provider’s Play Day!

Getting Kids Out of the Jell-O and Other Mishaps
Pulling your hair out?  Running to the bathroom to hide?  Screaming at the wall?
How many times have you caught yourself doing this? This workshop might be
for you.  We are going to look at the most challenging times that seem to occur
at home -Bedtimes; Meal times; Getting them ready to go out the door times?
And for some all the time. We are going to look at some possible “fixes” that can
occur to prevent some of these MISHAPS!

Daniel Hodgins is an international presenter and author of two popular released books
titled: Boys:Changing the Classroom, Not the Child and  GET OVER IT, Relearning
Guidance Practices. His new book, What the Hell, Where Did You Get That Idea is
being completed. As a consultant he has a unique grasp of children and family issues
learned from over 36 years of experience working as a teacher, director, educator and
parent in both private and public sector. Much of his work involved children at risk;
special needs populations and families with diverse challenges. In addition to his work
as a consultant, Daniel has worked as a Director of Child Development Center; Parent
Child Cooperative Nursery School Teacher; Teacher in Elementary School and retired
as Coordinator of Early Childhood Education at Mott Community College, in Flint,
Michigan. He has given keynotes, seminars and presentations in over 48
states/provinces and internationally.
